Formaldehyde Content Test
- Test Purpose: To screen the content of free and released formaldehyde in textiles. It prevents formaldehyde from entering the human body through skin contact and respiration, which may cause allergies, respiratory irritation, and even carcinogenic risks.
- Applicable Scope: Textiles for infants and young children, intimate apparel, curtains, bedding, and other products that directly contact the skin or are used in enclosed spaces for a long time.
- Key Standards: Domestically in compliance with GB 18401 National General Safety Technical Code for Textile Products; internationally referring to Oeko‑Tex Standard 100 and EU REACH Regulation.

Banned Azo Dyes Test
- Test Purpose: To identify azo dyes capable of releasing carcinogenic aromatic amines in textiles. Such dyes can be converted into toxic substances during human metabolism, and long‑term exposure may induce malignant tumors.
Applicable Scope: All kinds of dyed textiles, especially garments, home textile fabrics and leather products.
- Key Standards: Domestic standards include GB 18401 and GB/T 17592; international criteria cover Oeko‑Tex Standard 100 and Annex XVII of EU REACH Regulation.

Heavy Metal Content Test
- Test Purpose: To determine the contents of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic in textiles. Heavy metals can be absorbed and accumulated through the skin, causing damage to the nervous system, hematopoietic system, liver, and kidney functions.
- Applicable Scope: Children’s textile toys, printed and dyed fabrics, coated leather articles, etc.
- Key Standards: Domestic standards: GB 18401 and GB/T 30157; international standards: Oeko‑Tex Standard 100 and EU EN 71‑3 (for toys).

pH Value Test
- Test Purpose: To verify whether the pH value of textiles is within the tolerance range of human skin (generally 4.0‑8.5). Overly acidic or alkaline textiles may damage the skin barrier and trigger allergic reactions such as itching and redness.
Applicable Scope: Skin‑contact products such as intimate wear, infant clothing and towels.
- Key Standards: Domestic: GB 18401 and GB/T 7573; international: AATCC 81 and ISO 3071.
